1. Purpose of the Policy

The purpose of this Privacy & Legal Policy is to explain how TIS manages personal and business data in compliance with applicable data protection and IT security standards. We aim to ensure transparency about what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it. This policy applies to all TIS platforms, including the web portal, Android app, and iOS app.

2. Information We Collect

Account and Registration Data: Information such as ISP/company name, admin name, contact number, email, and business address during registration.
Operational Data: Data related to ISP operations (e.g., subscriber lists, IP assignments, payment records, usage history) entered by clients into the TIS platform.
Technical and Security Data: IP addresses, device information, system logs, and session identifiers collected to prevent fraud and enhance platform security.
App Data: Mobile app may request GPS location (for client location tagging), camera access (for ONU/NID scanning), and storage permission (for invoice saving). All permissions are optional and used only for core functionality.
Feedback and Communication: Messages, inquiries, or bug reports submitted through TIS, including attachments or screenshots.

To authenticate and manage ISP and employee accounts securely.

ISP clients retain complete ownership of their data. Astha Technology acts only as a data processor, managing the hosting and maintenance of the TIS platform. All customer records, usage statistics, and financial data uploaded to TIS remain under the exclusive control of the ISP client. We will never access, edit, or share ISP-owned data without formal written authorization.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Internal Access: Only authorized Astha Technology engineers or support staff may access limited data when troubleshooting or providing assistance, always under confidentiality agreements.
Third-party Service Providers: We may use third-party vendors (e.g., SMS gateways, payment processors, hosting providers). These partners are contractually bound to comply with our data protection requirements.
Legal Obligations: We may disclose information when required by Bangladeshi law, regulatory authorities, or to protect our rights and users’ safety.

6. Data Security

We use enterprise-grade security mechanisms to protect data integrity and confidentiality:

We retain personal and business data for as long as the ISP’s account remains active. Upon termination, we keep backup copies for up to 12 months for audit and restoration purposes unless the client requests immediate deletion. Deletion requests are verified and executed securely within 7–15 business days.

Right to access your personal or organizational data stored in TIS.
Right to rectify incorrect or outdated information.

Right to request deletion of data (subject to legal requirements).
